Dear Friends:

As those of you know who watched last night’s Facebook Live broadcast, by the end of the hour we had only got halfway through this past week’s readings in Dom Guéranger’s The Liturgical Year (Sunday through Tuesday’s readings, to be exact). I therefore said we’d continue and conclude our discussion tonight, i.e., Sunday night, at 9 pm (Eastern).

I ought to have said “Monday night” instead. I’ve been encouraged more than once to keep Sunday sacrosanct as a day of rest (including a rest from broadcasting), allowing families to have Sunday evenings to spend time doing something else with each other. This seems like a very wise policy.

We’ll therefore conclude our discussion of the readings in Guéranger for this past week (specifically, the Wednesday through Saturday of the third week of Lent) tomorrow evening (Monday, Mar 12), God willing. See you then!
