FREE 6-CD set offer extended to Sept 15
I want to give you a FREE gift worth $40 as a way of publicly thanking God for an unprecedented speaking engagement I recently had on Sunday evening, July 17.
What I'd like to send you a FREE copy of our best-selling item, the 6-CD set entitled "Consistent vs. Counterfeit Catholicism: Why Vatican II, The New Mass and Sacraments, and Benedict XVI Are Not What They Claim to Be (second, revised and expanded edition)."
This set is the recording of the all-day seminar on this topic (containing over 7 hours of eye-opening, life-changing information) that I gave in Orange County, California not too long ago, of which my recent July 17 talk was a highly abridged version.
On July 17, I had the unprecedented opportunity of making a no-punches-pulled presentation of this case for "consistent Catholicism" and against "counterfeit Catholicism" (the same case I've been making on my coast-to-coast, 300-city megatour for over five years now) to the apologetics study/action group of a diocese here in the Eastern US.
Both clergy and lay members of this highly active, theologically-literate, diocesan-approved apologetics group were in attendance that night, with additional people from outside the diocese having driven as much as nine hours to get there. The place was packed, with every seat filled.
What's more, this same apologetics group now wants to follow this event up with a public debate (we want it to be nationally televised, but I'm hoping EWTN will actually broadcast it around the world!) between myself and an internationally-known Vatican II apologist, such as Scott Hahn, Karl Keating, Patrick Madrid, or perhaps a non-sedevacantist traditionalist or semi-traditionalist leader such as Robert Sungenis, Michael Matt, Chris Ferrara, John Souza, Fr. Brian Harrison, or someone of like caliber.
Two of these men have already agreed to debate me, but we're working to get (if possible) the biggest name to ensure the biggest draw. Or we may turn no willing debater down and instead hold a series of debates, one a month in a dozen strategically located cities stretching from coast to coast -- probably Los Angeles, Seattle or Spokane, Phoenix, Denver, Dallas, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Chicago, Orlando, Atlanta, Washington DC, New York, and Boston -- with different opponents in different regions of the country.
(I will not, however, do any of these debates until I'm completely caught up producing some long-overdue CD sets and singles I've been working on the past two years. Only when all my "old business" is done will I embark upon this "new business.")
Perhaps you yourself have heard me speak on this topic, or have read an article or two of mine here on my website, or perhaps have listened to the 6-CD set mentioned above. Whether or not you already own a copy of this set, which normally sells for $40, I want to send you a FREE copy now.
If you've heard me speak on this topic, then you already know what I mean by "consistent Catholicism." I mean the uncompromising, unadulterated, anti-modernist Catholic Faith that vigorously affirms the ENTIRETY of the Church's perennial teaching and therefore adamantly rejects, not just some (as do the vast majority of "traditionalists"), but ALL of the novelties of the ecumenism-embracing, Freemasonry-friendly, apostasy-approving Vatican II religion (including, for example, antipope John XXIII's unauthorized 1962 missal -- which diocesan clergy offering Benedict XVI's "Motu Mass," the FSSP, and even the SSPX and similar clergy all use).
Although I've been privileged to make my "Consistent vs. Counterfeit Catholicism" presentation before thousands of people in over 188 (so far) huge cities and small towns across America, this was the first time I'd ever been asked by a Vatican II diocesan group to do so! And it's already been suggested that, thanks to this ice-breaking precedent, I will be getting similar invitations from other diocesan groups all around the country.
I know of no anti-Vatican II Catholic in the entire country -- or in the world, for that matter -- who has ever been invited by any diocesan group to present the case for this position. (Do you?)
This could end up being an entirely unforeseen but exciting "Phase II" of my megatour! Though my talks held at hotels always bring out an interesting assortment of listeners -- traditionalists, Novus Ordo attenders, Protestants, Jews, secular unbelievers and atheists (so that I'm hardly just "preaching to the choir") -- a prospective circuit to speak before such diocesan groups would open up a whole new world of people who tragically need to hear this information but whom I would otherwise have no way of contacting and inviting to hear me speak!
Now, I was under no illusions as to this group's official and initial motivation for having me address them. Doubtless most if not all of the group's members, before I spoke, saw me as just another "teacher of error" they wanted to cut their apologetic teeth on -- just like the occasional Jehovah's Witness, Mormon, Seventh-Day Adventist, or Protestant minister they've invited to their theological "barbecues." Like those previous guests, after my hour-and-a-half-long presentation I was grilled with gusto in a Q & A session -- in my case lasting over three hours -- during which they quite rightly came at me with every conceivable question, objection, and counterargument. And even after the event finally ended (at 1 am!), a couple of attendees followed me in their cars to the Holiday Inn Express 10 minutes away where I checked in after my talk in order to continue our discussion, seated in the lobby, until 4 am. The next morning I met again for further discussion with some of those who'd attended the previous evening's talk.
What was exciting to me was that at least some attendees were, by the end of the presentation and Q & A, considering this issue with an extremely open mind. They were able to see the holes in the pat, politically correct, mainstream conservative analyses of the current crisis, and were intrigued that they had finally heard something that was more, shall we say, consistently Catholic.
And I also know that those who had come to vehemently oppose my position did so largely out of ignorance of the basis for the position, a basis found in numerous passages of Sacred Scripture, in the writings of the Fathers and Doctors of the Church, in the pronouncements of popes and councils, in the teaching of saints, seers, and approved theologians, and in the prior patterns of Church history.
Once they hear this evidence, intellectually honest folks are blown away, and they are stunned to see how much sense this position makes of the unprecedented events of the last fifty years -- how, in fact, this is the ONLY position that makes sense of ALL the events.
Among the many enthusiastic responses I've received, one doctor (who did not agree with my position before attending) sent me an email the following night titled "Thank You," which read:
"Hi Gerry, I thought your presentation was fantastic Sunday night!! It really is a presentation that every Catholic needs to hear!! People will say to me, 'I'm not interested in going to listen to some boring talk about religion'..... if they only knew that you make it anything BUT boring!! I wish I could have stayed later. The question and answer session was super interesting!! I did not get a chance to purchase any of your material that night so I plan to make a little donation through your website."
I've been blessed to see people all across America embrace the "consistent Catholic" position when it's presented to them in a calm, clear, convincing manner and their questions and objections are patiently answered, with abundant proofs provided from Scripture, Tradition, and the Magisterium.
I sense the same thing is happening, by God's grace, in the aftermath of the July 17 event as well -- and will happen when similar invitations come from other dioceses. And I know, from the many phone calls and e-mails I regularly receive, that the same thing happens when people listen to my 6-CD set, which is an even fuller exploration of all these issues.
So here's the deal: If anytime between now and midnight, September 15, you will go to my online store, www.gerrymatatics.org/shop, and order as little as $75 of CDs and/or books, I will include with your order one FREE 6-CD set of "Consistent vs. Counterfeit Catholicism: Why Vatican II, The New Mass and Sacraments, and Benedict XVI Are Not What They Claim to Be." Although this set would otherwise cost you $40, I will include a copy ABSOLUTELY FREE, as my gift to you.
Why am I doing this? Simple: if you don't yet own a copy of this set, I want you to hear this presentation. And if you already own a copy, I want you to have an extra copy you can either give as a gift to someone you care about or you can circulate as a "loaner" among various family and friends.

(If you wish to type in an additional note in the space provided in our online order form saying, "Gerry, don't forget my FREE copy of your 6-CD exposé of Counterfeit Catholicism," you're welcome to do so, but it's not necessary.)
