Gerry's mega-tour continues Aug 16-21 through New England
What should faithful, orthodox Catholics in New England who love our Catholic Tradition think of Vatican II, the New Mass and new sacraments, and Benedict XVI?
Over the next few days I hope, by God's grace, to be answering that question from Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition, the Fathers and Doctors of the Church, and the infallible teachings of the Catholic Magisterium, as I speak in various New England cities and towns:

NOTE: these are the only speaking engagements I will have anywhere in New England in 2006 -- or perhaps ever again. Though I am not speaking in Vermont or Connecticut on this trip, I would like to do so sometime next year, 2007, though I cannot guarantee at this point that financially I will be able to do so. The expenses for these trips are often outweighing the income! Consequently, it is only fair to warn you that this may well be the very last chance you have to hear me speak anywhere in New England.

On the Saturday and Sunday afternoons in question (Aug 19 & 20) I will be giving a 3-talk seminar (plus 1-hour Q & A session). On the weeknight evenings (Aug 16, 17, 18, 21) I will give a single talk which is an abridged, highly-condensed version of the full 3-talk seminar.
Some of the fascinating topics that will be covered include:
• End-times prophecies from: Sacred Scripture, saints & doctors of the Church, approved Marian apparitions (such as Our Lady of LaSalette); the Venerable Anne Catherine Emmerich's visions of the "counterfeit Church"
• How every crisis the Church has previously passed through -- from the Fall of Lucifer, the Fall of Adam and Eve, the conflict between Cain and Abel, Noah's Flood, the 40 years the Exodus generation spent in the wilderness until every adult save two perished, the apostasies of the Jews and the destruction of their Temple, the Babylonian Captivity, the Maccabean resistance, the Arian and Nestorian heresies, the reign of over 40 antipopes, the Great Western Schism, the English "Reformation," the Modernist crisis, and others -- foreshadowed the current crisis, which is simply the combination and culmination of them all

• Could Vatican II have been a “Robber Council” like those 17 illegitimate councils previously condemned by the Church?
• New Face for the Church, or New Church? Was Vatican II a "makeover" or a takeover?
• The disturbing changes built into the New Mass and their impact on its validity
• How the new episcopal consecration rite of 1968 mimics the rite composed by Archbishop Cranmer during the English Reformation of the 1500's (a rite authoritatively declared "absolutely null and utterly void" by the Church); the logical consequences of this for "bishops" consecrated with this new rite, for "priests" ordained by such "bishops," and for the "sacraments" offered by such priests
• How the Vatican II programs of Ecumenism & the “New Evangelization” deny the key dogma "No Salvation Outside the Church"
• How the Magisterium teaches (in Cum Ex Apostolatus Officio, the Code of Canon Law, etc.) that public heresy automatically excommunicates and deposes from office anyone -- even a pope
• Church teaching on how the reign of antipopes (over 40 in the history of the Church) doesn't conflict with Christ's promise that "the gates of hell will not prevail against the Church" (Matthew 16:18)
