Milpitas & San Luis Obispo talks canceled (Second update to Gerry's May 20-25 California lecture tour)
Here's the SECOND update to the itinerary for my lecture tour of California May 20-25:
As stated below, any location receiving fewer than 25 pre-registrations by 48 hours before the scheduled talk will regrettably be forced to cancel, so that the hotel doesn't charge me for the meeting space.
Such is already the case with the talk scheduled for Sunday, May 20, 3 pm at the Crowne Plaza Silicon Valley in Milpitas.
Tonight I am forced to cancel for the same reason the talk scheduled for Monday, May 21, 7:30 pm at the Embassy Suites by Hilton San Luis Obispo.
The two remaining talk locations are currently likewise in danger of being canceled due to insufficient numbers, but I’m giving each location until 48 hours before the event to see if there's any increase in pre-registrations:

My topic at each location will be, “Clearing Up the Confusion and Controversy Concerning the Current Catholic Crisis” — with a possible postlude on “The Abomination of Alliteration.”
As always, the talk will be followed by an optional (leave when you like), no-holds-barred Q & A session in which you aren’t restricted to the topic of the talk: ask me any questions you like on any topic you choose, or argue with me on any of my positions. You have carte blanche!
PRE-REGISTRATION & ADMISSION FEE
Because space is extremely limited you MUST PRE-REGISTER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Any location that has received less than 25 pre-registrations by 48 hours before the scheduled time for the talk WILL BE CANCELED.
Pre-register by emailing me at email@example.com. In your email please provide your full name, physical mailing address (to help me plan future talks more conveniently located near where you live), cell phone number, which talk location you plan to attend, and number of persons in your party who will be attending.
Each attendee will be asked at the door to please make a $10 donation to help defray the cost of renting the meeting space. Cash, check, PayPal, or Visa, MasterCard, or Discover all accepted. NO ONE WILL EVER BE TURNED AWAY DUE TO LACK OF FUNDS, HOWEVER.
