Next Psalm Broadcast: tomorrow (Fri, Mar 9)
I mentioned in last night’s Facebook Live broadcast that I would need to take an additional “admin day” this week (i.e., take the day off from preparing for a broadcast, as well as the evening off from broadcasting), either tonight or tomorrow, in order to catch up on other urgently pressing duties.
It looks as though several factors have conspired to make that tonight, rather than tomorrow:
1) The additional snow that began to fall this afternoon, and is expected to continue into the evening, is certainly one factor. Each snowfall obliges me to clear, not only my own driveway and long (200-ft) wrap-around sidewalk (we live on a corner lot), but also the same for an elderly neighbor across the street.
2) We are also a bit behind as a family in our various daily Lenten exercises and readings. Not broadcasting tonight would enable us to somewhat catch up this evening, before we fall any further behind.
3) I am still very behind in my correspondence. Please forgive me, those of you who’ve still not hear from me! The amount of emails, snail mail, voicemail messages, texts, etc, I receive is overwhelming!
I hope to continue and conclude our discussion of Psalm 28 tomorrow evening (Fri, Mar 9) at our regularly scheduled time of 9 pm Eastern, God willing. See you then!
Yours in Christ the Lord of Lent (and all year round!),
